Bruno C. Duarte is a full member of the Institute for Philosophy at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the UNIVERSIDADE NOVA DE LISBOA, and has previously been a Visiting Scholar at the FREIE UNIVERSITÄT BERLIN and a Visiting Research Fellow at BROWN UNIVERSITY. He is also a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow. He is currently working on a research project on the perception of text as image and its connection to the theory and practice of translation. From his publications it's possible t highlight Da crítica (Assírio & Alvim, 2016), Friedrich Schlegel – Da essência da crítica (Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, 2016), Lógica Poética – Friedrich Hölderlin (Vendaval Editors, 2011).
Bruno C. Duarte é membro efetivo do Instituto de Filosofia da FCSH da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Foi Investigador Visitante na Universidade Livre de Berlim e Investigador Visitante na Universidade de Brown. Foi também bolseiro da Fundação Fulbright. Atualmente, trabalha no âmbito de um projeto de investigação sobre a percepção do texto como imagem e a sua relação com a teoria e prática da tradução. Entre as suas publicações, destacam-se Da crítica (Assírio & Alvim, 2016), Friedrich Schlegel – Da essência da crítica (Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, 2016), Lógica Poética – Friedrich Hölderlin (Vendaval Editores, 2011).
